How to Save and Reuse Ad Templates with AdAutomate
AdAutomate's new Save as Template feature lets you store your best ad copy for later reuse. Here is how it works.
Why Save Templates?
When you generate a great ad copy, you often want to reuse it for similar campaigns. Instead of re-entering brand details and tweaking settings, you can save any generated ad as a template and load it back with one click.
How to Save a Template
- Generate ads using the standard form
- In the Results section, click on any variant card to select it
- Click the "Save as Template" button
- Give your template a name and confirm
Your template stores the headline, primary text, CTA, hashtags, platform, tone, and language — everything except the URL, so you can reuse the messaging for different products or pages.
Managing Templates
Click "My Templates" in the sidebar to see all saved templates. Each template shows its name, platform, and a preview of the headline. You can:
- Load — fills the generation form with the template data. Adjust the URL and generate fresh variations.
- Delete — removes the template from your library.
Use Cases
- Seasonal campaigns — save holiday-themed ad copy and reuse it next year
- Brand guidelines — save your brand's approved messaging and apply it to new products
- A/B testing — save different angles (benefit vs feature) and test them across campaigns
Pro Tips
Name your templates clearly — include the campaign name and angle (e.g., "Summer Sale - Urgency" or "Product Launch - Benefit"). This makes it easy to find them later when running multiple campaigns.
